Sumit Talwar, MD finished his residency in Internal Medicine from Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital Program in Internal Medicine. He subsequently went on to complete fellowship in Hematology/oncology at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He has a strong clinical background with experience in multitude of hematological and oncology disorders. He is currently working in a private practice in NY treating variety of conditions including, but not limited to, anemia and other blood cell disorders, bone marrow disorders (e.g. myelodysplasia), bleeding and coagulation disorders. He is also providing chemotherapy for a variety of malignant conditions including lymphoma, myeloma and other solid tumors (e.g. lung, breast, stomach, pancreas, liver, gall bladder, colorectal, prostate, uterine, ovarian, cervix, kidney, bladder etc.)
